In Izu you will not go hungry and many of the restaurants  will go above and well beyond your expectations.

Naturally, Izu is known for it's seafood, and if you are interested in the catch of the day then there are a few dishes you must try while you are here. Make sure you try some kin-me-dai (splendid alfonsino) which is arguably the tastiest fish in the sea.
